The results of the “Competitiveness Outlook” study were discussed with representatives of the SPM Committee

On March 19, Acting Head of the State Property Management Committee Gevorg Babayan and Head of the Department for State Property Management Programs and Legal Acts Development Bella Hakobyan participated in a meeting organized under the framework of the “Promoting Trade and Competitiveness in the Eastern Partnership Countries” (ETaC) program, jointly implemented by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and the International Trade Centre (ITC).

During the meeting, the preliminary findings of the “Competitiveness Outlook” study were presented, including analyses related to the governance features of state-owned enterprises in Armenia. The study is based on a policy and current situation assessment conducted over several months in cooperation with the consulting company “Civitta”.

Participants jointly discussed the results of the study with stakeholders and outlined directions for further work.

The program aims to support Eastern Partnership countries in developing evidence-based economic policies.
